The “Bombay Bang!” cocktail was presented at the Coffee in Good Spirits competition during the Venuez’10 event in Rotterdam on April 14, 2010. This signature cocktail got fourth place in this competition. The drink is based on the combination of Indian and British ingredients (as much as possible). The cocktail has, like Indian curries, many ingredients, but together, it’s a magnificent manifestation of flavors. This cocktail is perfect for after an indulging meal. For a cocktail the preparation is much, but worth it!

Finally, we had the chance to sit down. We look down on the table with four different liqueurs ready to be tasted. Maybe very surprising, they all contained coffee.
After a visit to our local (but not unknown!) distillery Rutte & Zn. in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, and talk about spirits and competitions, we were told: “Walk with me to the back, I’ve got something really nice! Here, check this out! Our own coffee liqueur. Wait a minute! I’ll fetch a few glasses. There, taste!”
“Wow!” I thought…that’s a great liqueur! This could be great to test against the well known coffee liqueurs.

A while ago, we entered an online competition on Koffiepraat.nl. We needed to post our details and what we wanted to do with the Hourglass coffee maker. The Hourglass coffee maker is a non-mechanical and non-electronic coffee maker which makes it able to do a cold water infusion.
Of course, as you might know, we love to experiment with coffee and other products. That includes using different brewing methods.
Suddenly, we’ve heard that we got the Hourglass coffee maker in the mailbox. It took a small while to know who to thank for.
Coffee comes in many flavors and brewing ways,…but also many different packages. The CoffeeAlchemists not only show love for coffee, but also for design. What’s more to love than coffee and design?

It came to our attention that there is apparently a kit which lets you smell all the coffees in the world.
The purpose of this kit is to teach you about the differences in aromas of coffee and master the taste of coffee.
